The Girl that Started Her Own Country

The subject matter of The Girl that Started Her Own Country was so rich!! My interest was piqued so quickly into reading it. I realized that I was flying through the pages because I was immersed into what was going on. Holy Ghost Writer is really talented and allowed the plot to progress swiftly. I felt like there was never a dull moment. That perhaps is a result of the high-stakes storyline.

Our protagonist, Zaydee, was very forthright. Not only did she have to navigate herself through politics, bureaucracies, and capitalism, but she had to be able to maintain personal struggles. Sometimes there was so much going on at once that I felt lost in the story. It was an amazing read and I will probably read it again. It’s so packed with subliminal things that I’m sure I’ll catch more the second time. Very, very pleased!
